Hold an endless tide of enemy chess pieces with a platoon whose guns fire along their chess lines - a rook rakes its file, a bishop its diagonals, a knight lobs over cover. Level pieces from their own kills, promote a pawn, and dread the turn a fallen piece defects and marches back at you. Contest the center to hold back the flood; read the board like chess and survive as deep as you can.
