playBear Island
Twenty acres of granite and white pine in the middle of a Canadian Shield lake. Swim off the point, take the boat out to the far islands, and fish the channel until dark. Black bears swim the channel to raid your camp, drawn by whatever is in your creel, so there is a lever rifle and a pump shotgun on the rack by the cabin door. Everything you see and hear is generated in code, and the only score is how many days you last.
